STANDARD SPECIFICATION

Structural aluminum rafters, corner and frame posts with PVC-u cladding throughout creating a thermal barrier. Roof glass is retained by a dry-glazed compression cap system with no visible screws.

Rectangular and stretched octagonal lanterns feature a concealed ridge channel for electric.

Passive ventilation is provided in the ridge for all lanterns.

Side frames are internally glazed and feature an integrated weep drainage system to the exterior. All side frames are fixed. Opening windows or roof vents are optional on larger sizes.

All lanterns (with or without side frames) include a 7-1/4 inch tapered, heavy-gauge aluminum reinforced sill for mounting to a curb built and flashed by others.

All lanterns are supplied with curb setting out dimensions for pre-approval. Drawings recommend a 1 - 2 inch drip edge at the sill and a minimum curb height of 6 - 8 inches above highest adjacent roof surface in snow zones.

GLASS

Standard roof and side glass is tempered/tempered one inch overall thickness (3/16-5/8-3/16) insulated units in High-Performance Low-E glass with Argon fill. Upgraded glass with higher shader co-efficients (for high sun locations) are listed below.
